5 Great GDPR Resources for Professional Services

Much has been said about GDPR and you’d be hard pressed to find any senior staff who haven’t at least got a rough idea of what it entails. Despite an overload of information on social and mainstream media, a recent survey amongst financial firms, conducted by managed IT services provider Claranet found that

  • ‘two-thirds (69%) of respondents said they were not able to secure customer data effectively ahead of the General Data Protection Regulation’s (GDPR) 25 May deadline’
  • ‘almost half (45%) reported encountering challenges in securing customer details while trying to improve the digital user experience.’
