Last Year we supported Turning Tides Homeless Charity and we managed to raise £650. We loved supporting Turning Tides and whilst we will continue to be a huge advocate of theirs and will carry on supporting them where we can, we have chosen a new good cause to support throughout 2022.

Our chosen charity for 2022 is Tree of Hope. Tree of Hope Children’s Charity helps children and young people with a disability or illness by supporting their families to raise the funds that they need to pay for specialist care that is not freely available through the UK healthcare system.

The Consortium Team will be taking on individual and team challenges throughout the year to help the charity, as will also look to help support some of Tree of Hope’s own events.

Lara Squires, Director said: “We have chosen to support Tree of Hope this year because children are our future, and as most of us in the team are parents, children and the charities that support them are very special.”

Gill Gibb, CEO, said: “We got to know Consortium through the Ladies Lunch Clubs that they host. We are delighted they have chosen to support us across both Ladies Lunch Clubs and Consortium More than Marketing. At Tree of Hope we help to transform the health and lives of sick and disabled children by helping their families to raise the funds that they need to pay for specialist care. We really appreciate the support we get from local businesses such as Consortium, and with their help we hope to raise our profile even more and offer more support to the families we help.”

More about Tree of Hope

Tree of Hope Children’s Charity helps children and young people with a disability or illness by supporting their families to raise the funds that they need to pay for specialist care that is not freely available through the UK healthcare system.

They are the crowdfunding children’s charity of choice for young people with healthcare needs, giving access to corporate donations, GiftAid, and potential grants from Trusts and Foundations. Most importantly they give reassurance to donors that their money will be spent on sick and disabled children and their healthcare needs.
