Saturday 6th July – Turning Tides annual Summer Busk is an incredible day of live music and performers all day long throughout Worthing town centre.

It brings together the best of the town’s musicians, young performers and volunteers to give the town a wonderful community day of live music and fundraising.

With around 30 bands all performing for free, it’s a huge busking event and a showcase of local musicians all raising money for the towns homeless charity Turning Tides.

With stages during the day on the high street for shoppers to enjoy and now expanding into the evening for revellers and music lovers.

You can found out more about this fabulous event on the Turning Tides Website.

As well as being a fantastic event to attend, it’s a great cause and there are many ways you can get involved.

Turning Tides have several options for volunteering on the day both during the day and in the evening.

Fundraising

The first and easiest way is to sign-up to be a collector/collection tin older, this can be anywhere from 1 hour to several and anytime from 10am – 4pm.

To register click here.

Hosting

Volunteer in the evening as someone on the venue doors, welcoming people taking donations and generally being a face from the charity. We need 4 people to do this job, the times vary slightly but are generally between 7-10pm they can obviously enjoy the atmosphere but would be responsible for the collection tins. They can register interest by emailing or calling on Sophie.moore@turning-tides.org.uk and 01903 680740 – Extension 252.

Awareness

Turning tides are also looking for helpers on our information stand, handing out flyers, chatting with the public and giving out balloons and badges. They can register to help with this here.

Performing

Lastly any bands/singers/acoustic acts are very welcome to register their interest in playing with us on the 6th of July by emailing fundraising@turning-tides.org.uk
