Lara Squires is the Founder and Director of Consortium and a specialist in professional services marketing. With more than 20 years of experience across the legal and wider professional services sectors, she brings strong commercial insight and clear direction to the firms she supports.
She founded Consortium after recognising a need for outsourced marketing delivered by people with genuine sector experience. Her aim was to build an innovative agency defined by high standards, practical expertise and a flexible model that attracts and retains senior marketing talent.
A Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Lara is known for her direct approach and her ability to turn marketing activity into real, tangible business development results. She works closely with clients to strengthen their reputation, refine their positioning and build marketing that drives long-term growth.
What I love about my role:
Marketing professional service firms is not easy and I think that's the main reason I love it, as I do like a challenge. I also love people and finding out what makes them, them. In professional services we are marketing, people so you have to know the people really well.
I love my role as the MD at Consortium. I am fortunate enough to have a fabulous team and together we work with fantastic clients and do great things. The two values that align most for me when thinking about the agency's core values are fun and integrity. I like to have fun in my work and I believe that integrity and honesty is at the heart of all that we do.
